when doing small shows in not-so-ideal conditions, it's easy to lament over fantasies of doing large madison square garden type arenas with thousands of hysterical fans jumping and screaming, and to think to yourself, "when that happens, then i'll feel like a star."

well below are two dope-ass folks who laugh in the face of that (as in ha ha ha). st. vincent and janelle monae both kicking ass at in-store sessions, each with 10 audience members, tops. if you got it, you got it.

ps: the st. vincent one is on the long tip but stick with it or else you'll miss the insane acoustic version of "paris is burning."
