hey hey HEY now...the comments on my last post are getting a bit out of hand. i can't have campus organizers all insulting fans on my blog, JANICE. but at the same time, it does freak me out a bit to think i'll have someone named "anonymous" commenting on every single one of my posts asking for my shirt. whenever i see a comment made by someone "anonymous" i imagine a big ex-hell's angel in briefs surfing websites in his trailerpark's computer lab. so i'll address it like this:

The iLL-Literacy Hoodie that some of you have been seeing around and asking us about, such as the one that ruby's vogueing in in this picture, are in fact hoodies that i made and gave to the members of the crew for christmas.


"awwwwwwwww."


i brought some blank hoodies to a shirt printing spot on haight in frisko, and had them print "ILL LIT" on them, and i sewed (yes, i sewed) the hyphens on myself. that's what i do between touring. i sew hyphens.

the fact is, i don't even have an iLL-Literacy Hoodie. it's true. unfortunately for me, they mixed up the prints and i ended up with this:



so that's the story. the only iLL-Literacy Hoodies that are in existence that i know of are the three that grace the bodies of the other members of ill-literacy (and whatever hot piece of flesh they take home and who stay over to fry eggs and bacon in the morning....hotttttttt). we haven't printed any others, and in fact, no one else gets one until i get one, dammit!

that's a good idea though, maybe we will print up some to sell. in the meantime, people should feel MORE than welcome to print my crew's name on whatever hoodie, bomber jacket, or wonderbra they please (make sure you own it, or there's permission by the owner first.) we're working with some fresh clothing companies on the ill-lit gear, it's gonna be soooooOo saucy! hopefully by fall...watch the ill-lit store.

and for those of you who comment anonymously, first of all, i'm so appreciative that you would take the time in your day to actually read and write back. for real. whenever i get a comment i huddle over it like meat in a bearcage. but for real, the whole "anonymous" option is a bit twitchy. you don't even have to provide your real name, maybe even a short phrase like "i'm wearing pants" so i have a better sense of how to rate you on my creepiness scale.
